On January 9, 2020, we published a new employers` agreement. The new agreement provides that the agreement is legally binding. If the employer breaks it, you can close your account and prevent them from taking training. If your organization accepted the employer agreement on or after January 9, 2020, you don`t need to accept it again or take any action. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, ESFA has decided to postpone the publication of the new employers` agreement until 20 August 2020. Employers can accept the new agreement from this date. The January 9, 2020 version is for employers who created a training service account between January 9, 2020 and August 20, 2020. These employers must only accept the August 20 variant if they wish to have access to incentive payments for hiring a new apprentice. .
